Welcome to our nursery, a nurturing and inspiring space where children are free to explore, learn and grow in a thoughtfully designed environment that blends nature, creativity and hands on learning. Our exceptional outdoor garden, developed in collaboration with the renowned Eden Project, is a dedicated space where early years children can engage with the natural world in a truly immersive way. With a large sand area, children can dig, build and create, while opportunities for climbing and exploring encourage physical development and a sense of adventure. They will have the chance to observe a variety of plants, learning about nature’s wonders, before using them in our imaginative mud kitchen, where messy play fosters creativity and collaboration.

A fire pit provides a warm, social space for stories, songs and group activities, while the water area allows children to engage in sensory play, pouring and experimenting. The outdoor space also includes a large concrete area designed for bikes, mark making and wheeled toys, where children can express themselves through movement and art.

Inside, our large, bright classroom opens up onto a sheltered area and the garden, creating a free flow learning environment where children can easily transition between indoor and outdoor activities. Our facilities extend to the use of our school field, where children participate in weekly Welly Walks, exploring seasonal changes, observing wildlife and engaging in outdoor adventures that complement their classroom learning. We also have access to a large outdoor classroom and a Forest School area, both designed to support hands on, experiential learning in all weather conditions, allowing children to develop essential skills such as resilience, problem solving and working with others.

At our nursery, every detail is carefully considered to provide an enabling and dynamic environment that supports each child’s unique journey of discovery, growth and development. From indoor classrooms to expansive outdoor spaces, we offer endless opportunities for exploration, learning and play.
