Hi I’m Sharlene, I am a qualified teacher and I have worked as a teaching assistant across lots of different nursery and pre-school settings, as well as holiday clubs. I have worked with a wide variety of children, including supporting children with special educational needs which I am passionate about.

I have worked at The Bishops’ since my own children started there and I love seeing our youngest children beginning their learning journey through well-planned play and engaging activities. It is wonderful to see how much progress our Nursery make and we are so proud to see their school readiness when they join Reception.

I am a Mum of 2 boys who attend The Bishops’ and out of school we love being out and about as a family, exploring Newquay’s lovely beaches and paddleboarding.
